A reply to our dear YS!
I must say... Class was nv the same without u, with 1 person lesser to go joking around. We are often lost for words whenever teachers ask why are you. We had kept the secret and ur save for the time being =). But i will always remember the memerioes we have. Dun worry i not EMOING!!!Nv will i forget the time u and Imran spray the lvl 1 staircse wall with the dun know whatever thing, showing ur love for our class but ends up getting caught by the teacher.. LOL... i still remember the last timewe play together would the pool in bukit timah plzza.
And i dun know what to say le.. haha cannot think of anything ese le.. Dun worry =) once i remember something unqiue abt u i will post!.. and correct my horrible english man!! lol

The bunch of people who made my life so enjoyable for the past 2 months and a half:Alda, Chai kee, Jia min, Benson, Kah jui, Shawn, Adrian, Khim, Manfred, Hong xiang, Wei kai, Daniel, Stanley, Hidayat, Imran, Eugene, Wei min, Kenny.
Wa lao, I think I kena jinxed already. This year seow one. My 2 and a half months in that millennia institute with a bunch of clowns was damn memorable. All seow one. Where I met friends I knew I was gonna keep for a long time. Where I met that damn joker Imran. Where the rest of our friends exploited his disability to pronounce r from w. lol. Waise the woof man Imwan.
And then came goodbyes, no tears were shed. And it was then that I found out that Imran had applied for the same course as I. So we said that we’d meet again soon. And we did.
It was April 2nd when we met up again for the freshmen orientation camp organized by ngee ann student union blah blah blah. And it was damn heng… Somehow, we ended up being in the same og. Dagonet oei!!! And it was there that I noticed this small botak kid sitting across me in a circle that the whole og made. We were playing whacko damn it. So heng I never kena. Anyway, this botak boy was Daniel. And it was during this camp that we shared many experiences. The gay thing he had for some people, which we all completely misunderstood, to the water bomb games, to the dagonet skit at the end of the camp fire. And so it was, I had met 2 of my future classmates. These 2 would be one of the dearest to me but I didn’t see it coming at that time yet. And Imran, it’ll be quite some time before I forget that sleepless night. The night where we played that gilla game of Indian poker. Ah ah ah!!! Ahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
And so 1 week passed and school had begun. Where I met up with the 2 of them, and suddenly like so heng hor, we ended up being in the same class. Where I wasn’t quite myself. Where I felt like the shy boy I was long ago. Cuz of certain events that took place during my time in millennia institute. Where my confidence, I felt, was on the brink of destruction. But I’m not gonna go into that.
And so I thought that I might come off to you guys as a little anti-social. BUT.
YOU GUYS ARE SO FRIENDLY man, it didn’t take long before I came out of my shell. The burden which I’ve been carrying. The burden that made me seem like an idiot. So I thought to myself, hey! I can start over again! And I did. I became the joker and fool that many would have grown accustomed to.
The only part of me that I brought along into this new world was my love for mnms and hello pandas.
And it was during the freshmen orientation program that I got to know all of you a little better. YOU GUYS ARE SEOW LA!!! During the tele match you all were like screaming your lungs out!! Who cares if we didn’t win! We rocked so hard that we rule and they drool! Wheee!
And in my days of fooling around, I decided to kak cheow a lonely looking boy, one whom I noticed sitting all by himself with no one to talk to in construction tech class. His name was Stanley. Si bei emo. I thought he was like on the verge of suicide you know!! Wa lao eh!! Ya so anyway, his emo and my jokes became something of a lame combi, where I anyhow make jokes and he will suddenly start laughing.
Ya so anyway, I met this guy that’s got the ‘I’m cool! Wheee!’ face, Hidayat. Damn funny sia he. Never study still can get so good academics. Freak! I wish I could be like that too! Ha! So its like he’s always saying stuff like. Not canteen 3 again la! Who want go np co-op with me? Today is ps day. Why our class no brain one, always following Imran! Wheeee! Yay!
Ok wadeva. And so I met this peculiar guy whom every one, I felt, thought was a chao ah beng. Damn scary face. The hair also damn scary. Then hor, after awhile, once I start to talk to him, its like. Always telling me stupid lame crap nonsense rubbish idiotic jokes. Lalalala!!! I still remember the shen chu yuan shou / siao ding dang joke. Like what the hell man! That’s gotta be the lamest shit I’ve ever heard in my life. Ya la, it’s the golden monkey!! XD
And I met this group of people who shared the same love of char kway teow with me. That was like the most unhealthy period of my life lor. Almost every few days we’d eat that crap. And it was so so fun to eat together that I totally neglected the health risks I was taking. Like that also can. Haha I’d miss the char kway teow eating frenzies that we shared. And hor, it’ll be quite some time before I forget the ‘hong dou bing’ is not equals to ‘hong dou nai bing’ saga.
Wei kai, I promise you that when I come back, you will never have to chance to say ‘ni kan! Bian liao lor!!! Yi qian bu shi ze yang de!!’
And as I let myself loose, I found a friend in each and every one of the e01s. Friends which I wished I had gotten to know better.
But just as I was getting started, I noticed a rift. A rift so subtle that only idiots couldn’t notice. We were breaking up into our own small little cliques. It happened. The once sibei united class had been reduced to 4 groups. Those with Imran, those with Manfred, those with kah jui, those I’ve been around with.
Well, I’ve hung around Daniel, Hong xiang, Wei kai, Kenny, Stanley, Wei min for majority of my time in np. I’d neglected the damned joker Imran for people I’d lost myself to.
So in a desperate bid, I attempted something I never thought I would do, to bridge the spaces between us. I decided to hang out with Imran’s group. And the most unlikely character I’d rediscovered was the crappy and nerdy so-called know it all Chai kee and the all so direct about sex with nothing to hide Alda. And crap we did. We spoke the native tongues of gibberish and found pleasure in that. Wadeva la, it was fun.
Kenny was like a kor to me, he was reserved at times, spoke little of nonsense and seemed focus on his work…. YEAH RIGHT!!! Whole day only know how to crap!! Even when he’s crapping, he show his ‘I’m not crapping’ face. Lol lol lol!! Then again hor, its probably this quiet reserved attitude that gained the interest and approval of mr kwan. He tried to share his love for Japanese rock with the class. But some couldn’t tahan. Luckily I liked some of his songs. Otherwise ah! Heh heh heh!!! =) Sharing the same bus sometimes when he felt like it. Otherwise he chiong with his zha bor peng yao. -__-“ Ya, wish you all the best in your relationship with her.
Daniel, he grew. He grew to become the guy that everyone pokes fun at but no one’s ever serious about the jokes. He grew his hair. He didn’t grow his vocabulary of hokkien words. It still is knnbccb. Or something along the lines of that. He showcased his sexy voice to a hand full of jokers one night on msn. I had begun to understand him more. We talked talks. We chionged canoeing even when no one else would. Wa lao eh. Cannot tahan, I can’t believe I’m actually typing this. Don’t get me wrong ah, I’m not emo la!
Shawn and kah jui are like the perfect clowns when they wanna be. They’re nonsensical experiences never fail to capture the interest of our class. And Shawn was in the same sports program as Imran and I. We joined soccer. Whoa shit man, I just remembered the time when Imran scored the sibei kayu own goal! LOL!! Ya so anyway, it was cool to get to interact with Shawn more. His foot skills are awesome. Like it never fails to amaze everyone who bothers to look. Then hor, I gotta say. QUIT SMOKING MAN!!! My ah gong is diagnosed with cancer cuz he smoked and I don’t wanna see you end up like that. Aiya, its still up to you.=) And this also applies to Khim and Manfred ah!!!!! And Shawn!! I think that you’re really gonna go deaf one day man!! But the again, Beethoven was deaf and he still made music. But don’t you think it’ll be much nicer if you could appreciate your own work? Wa kakakakaka!!!!!
And Eugene and Jia min, I wish you all the best together. Must steady steady ah!!
And hor, Benson is like this dude whom I figured is actually damn steady. Like the way he study ah is like damn on one. You all know what I mean la. When he gets something right, he snaps his fingers and says something along the lines of yeah! Steady.
And I think that Adrian has really got what it takes to totally piah the kor chek. Lol!!!
And yeah, I regret that I didn’t get the opportunity to say bye to most of you guys. But we must look on the bright side. No tears were shed, no need for all the drama. My disappearance has been juxtaposed with Death by Stanley as I had noticed. When I ‘died’, no one had the chance to say bye. We all shared memories together and it is these memories that keep us alive. Even as I’m deprived of the opportunity to grow in experience with you all, I will always cherish the moments we shared.
Imran! We had the chance to do nonsense together for the last time before I flew off! HAHAHA!!!!! Must treasure the times we had spent together. And yes I still think that we should have won that s9 vs s8 soccer match. And yes I still think that Derek koo is a plain ass cheater. And yes I still think that S9, dagonet AND e01 ROCKS!!!
And for the others whom I had not got the chance to bond so closely with, thanks for just being around. =)
Must add that this essay was actually quite fun to write SIA. Hahahahaha!!!!! And hor, if you want me to visit your blog or friendster, please remove any streaming music or videos. Cuz my internet here is chargeable by the amount of data I download. Means, like, I only have 1gb to download and upload every month. So if your blog and friendster got a lot of shit in it like music and videos, I’m not gonna visit it. Ya, like that la. =)

i HATE goodbyes....Bye bye Yong Sheng. For those who are still blur blur and walking around not knowing anything, Yong Sheng is going to OR rather, STAYING in Perth, Australia to further his studies. He is taking a foundation course for 1 year in Perth and then returning to Singapore. Awww, dont get it wrong! He's just coming back for NS, but we are all 1 year after him. So by NO chance we'll be going to NS together - that's for the guys and local anyway.
On behalf...... I guess? We'll all miss you too Yong Sheng. We weren't the closest of friends, but still friends afterall. I hate to see you go, but you wanted it. So, wish you all the best, take care, and PLEASE do not forget me..... Errr, i mean... US. Thanks for being a friend, we'll be losing one, and it hurts! >_< I'm short of one friend to scold me, ha - ha - ha... ='(
You didn't really give us a chance to say goodbye, and it's really sad.....

Kenny's Post on the Water trip.
As I didn't manage to join the class for the water trip on 9 June, I ended up joining the EWTs on the 21 June. We went to 2 sites to test the water. Singapore River and Botanic Gardens. It was rather sunny and the river was low tide. Mr Eng went to collect the water sample and..as usual, he was logically 'crappy'. So, these are 2 pictures I took. Sorry I didn't manage to take much.
I know the photos are kinda stupid. I'm sorry! Haha. Anyway, Botanic Gardens is really beautiful now. Please do visit it if you have the time to.

Sometimes, endings are just new beginnings.
And so here I am, sitting on my bed in an apartment in Perth, typing about the sudden change in direction in my life, that may come as a shock to some of you.You see, not all endings are just endings. Most of the time, they're new beginnings, but we just don't notice it yet.
I've recently applied for a foundation course in Taylors College and to my surprise and delight, I managed to get in.
So, I'll be in Perth furthering my studies. Yup!
In this case, its a new beginning in college for me.
And an end to tertiary life in poly.

hi ladies and gentlemen....been 1 week into the holidays, really bored. who isnt bored? class outing was fun. hope it would become more often and more ppl able to make it. ;) okay.. just slight reminders: remember to do your CT project, CT discussion board on Metals and ECA water analysis... err ok.. the ECA thingie maybe not yet. ignore that~ lots of work to do for CT, pls dont forget about it kkz.. and.. we have a CT e-learning week coming on earthwork plant? dunno when the assignment is gonna be uploaded online so we can start on it. anyone know?(pls tell in tagboard) if free enough, we could probably start it before school start.. and like, maybe meet somewhere and do? hmm, not sure... probably @ a library with wireless internet or can go school do... any ''enthu'' people? :P i dont really like CT honestly but its okay. and feel like doing some of it during this holidays~ so during that week have free periods during CT lessons, haha can do other stuffs....
any ideas?

class outing!
first class outing, not many of us went.. only stanstan,yat, minmin, chucky, xiangxiang,duckysia and kahjui go.. at first we wanted to go East Coast Park cycling, but rained super heavily. Me and yat met at Bedok MRT, while minmin and chucky on their way from jurong east... So.. its like we gotta change plans, coz surely cant cycle @ ECP.we decided to go vivo city~ so we took MRT down to harbourfront, we wanted to watch movie after eating and some walking around, but it was SO packed.... after that we decided to go bishan J8 watch movie or cycle @ bishan park.. we reach there rain had stopped.. so we took bus 55 to bishan park,walked all the way in and found the bicycle rental shop closed -_- wtf...
ok so we decided to hurry back to J8 catch a movie.. walked out and fetched a cab.... watched fantastic 4.. and then~ we went home.. except minmin and chucky go shopping..
really tired now.. lol
Really adventurous class outing LOL, too bad you guys didnt go.. it was tiresome but fun haha.

ECP Outing~
Hieee hieee...Class outing this Saturday location: Sentosa has been changed to East Coast Park (ECP).
Time: 1.30pm Meet at Bedok MRT.
Details: Eat an early lunch or late breakfast, make sure its heavy. NO finger food, try not to eat a burger only.... 'coz we'll be cycling and playing @ ECP, I dont want any indigestion or vomitting or... wadeva.
1.30pm @ Bedok MRT, then we head down to ECP. Estimated: we'll reach ECP @ 2pm~
Borrow bikes and playyyyy~ those who wanna skate~ (OMG I WANT!!!!) see how ^^
Subject to Change..: we'll be cycling till around 5pm+, wash up and change etc etc. then head out for dinner Estimated 6pm+. Should end around 7pm+ if we're fast.
AFTER Dinner. Moviesssss? :D Depends, see what you guys want... All should end latest 10pm. Anyone have ''curfew''? If so, it'll be okay if you leave us around 6+ or something. If there's no problem with this then see ya guys at Bedok MRT tomorrow!! Please turn up kays~!

Okay... I know not many of you asked for this. But i'm doing it for us, and not asking anything in return. Errr, actually, just want you guys to participate and blog actively. This may be something extra that i'm doing for you guys including myself. But look at our lecturers, they made discussion boards for us to participate in and understand each other and much more, BUT NO we DIDNT use it at all. What a waste. I pity their efforts. I will soon feel it too if you guys REFUSE to make use of what WE give you. Jia Min made a friendster group for us. How many of us actually use it seriously? It's kinda dead now like Yat says... We all know we have that spare 10 to 15minutes to browse the discussion boards and the blogs, we should take that little time out and participate - get yourself involved in the E01 family!
By the way, if we happen to have anything to discuss on, we can bring it into this blog - example, reflection on how we learn a certain module, is it effective, how do we think it can improve? That way, lecturers can also read it here and take it into consideration. We know deep down inside us that we do not like voicing out honest comments on certain things, perhaps it may hurt others or sound offensive - don't be shy to express it out here... it's not dangerous LOL.
